Careers in Transition: While careers in ‘outlandish’ new industries grow, others become obsolete.
Last week CareersToday reported on the jobs that will likely not return once we recover from the current world-wide economic rapture. However, the universe always manages to restore balance. With the death of many soon-to-be meaningless jobs, such as those in the disappearing credit industry, many prenatal careers are currently in the world’s womb, and yet to be seen.
Experts from Fast Future research company predict that space pilot, quarantine enforcer, and body part maker are just a few of the positions we will see birthed over the next twenty years.
With exceptional growth in cloning technologies, wounded athletes and military personnel may have access to replacement body parts. And while global warming continues, some scientists speculate that a massive relocation from earth may be necessary. Henceforth space pilots and quarantine enforcers may become essential in keeping us ‘safe’ from many fear we may destroy.
