Careers in Transition: For those in the ‘advertising-know,’ an executive job at Universal McCann is not something to voluntarily walk away from. Yet in these enigmatic times, people across all industries are taking a step back to evaluate their deep contentment, and leaving jobs that are no longer providing that ‘spark.’ Gloriane Yi, a former Media Supervisor at Universal McCann, did just that! She quit her distinguished job in Los Angeles, traveled around Europe and Asia, worked in PR at her family’s apparel business, and ultimately opened her own shop. Yi now owns Superlative Communications, LLC, a full-service public relations, marketing, advertising, and media company. According to Gloriane, her life is now exactly where she wants it to be.
