Careers in Transition: As of Friday of last week, Arun Nanda has intentionally stepped down from his position as Executive Director of Mahindra & Mahindra (NSE India ticker M&M) to pursue a love of helping senior citizens. He explains that his abrupt career decision is because seniors are lonely as the world becomes more global, and family members are forced to move away from one another. Luckily for Nanda, other M&M executives are supportive of his decision to resign as a board member, and will arrange with him to stay on part-time in a non-executive capacity.
