Edu stimulus funding has saved or created over 400,000 jobs

Career Education: This year, federal economic aid restored vitality in the job market by providing funds to education. Many teachers, principals, and public service professionals across the nation received jobs, or were able to garner existing positions due to the generous amount of money the government put towards education in 2009. However, the skeptics believe that it was insufficient, and wish to see the layoff numbers. Meanwhile, even the largest proponents of 2009’s federal aid efforts question the fiscal future of the education system, claiming that 2010 may be a bleak year.
